The 4th Workshop was organized by Institute of Electron Technology. It was a 4-day event, encompassing training activities for ESRs, work sessions, and meetings related to industrial cooperation. The meeting was preceded by IC design course which main goal was to strenghten the technical foundations and training of young researchers hired in the project. The course consisted of the excursion to MINTE Centre, silicon fab in one of ITE's divisions and the seminar with the practical training. The meeting was attended by 18 representatives from 5 institutions (INESC, ITE, TES, TU Iasi and UNS) involved in SENSEIVER project and 6 representatives of external companies (MICRODUL, Every European Digital Poland and EDF Group Poland).
Meeting venue was in The Tower Villa, semicircular tower-shaped facility constructed in the late twenties of the twentieth century. Originally it was unique in terms of shape, material and location residential building. The adjoining castle was builded during The Second World War and now houses two institutions of Jagiellonian University. The main attraction of the restaurant located in the castle is a tarrace with a view of the Vistula River, south-western part of the city and Beskid Mountains. Under favorable conditions Tatra Mountains can also be seen. Both buildings ale situated in Wolski Forrest near the centre of Kraków. Another tourist attraction for attendants was fortified Kościuszko Mound overlooking the whole city.
