location: Kraków, Poland
duration: 09/25/2013 - 10/04/2013
Immediately following the IMAPS-CPMT 2013 conference, Institute of Electron Technology hosted a summer school on LTCC (Low-Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) technology for sensor networks.
Participation
The event was open to the public, however the number of places was limited. Participation was free of charge. The event was funded through the EU FP7 Marie Curie program, in framework of the SENSEIVER project.
Content
The training program was comprised of three lecture modules dedicated to the development of technical ("hard") skills (H1-H3), together with four lab modules (L1-L4), as well as four modules (S1-S4) dedicated to the development of "soft" skills, such as project management, intellectual property and proposal writing.
H1: LTCC technology in sensor applications
H2: Introduction to Internet Protocol
H3: Internet Protocol: embedded and security
S1: Intellectual property
S2: Project management
S3: Team building
S4: Grant proposal writing
L1: LTCC fabrication
L2: IP networks
L3: IP sensors
L4: Cryptography
Another way of looking at the training program is that the modules could be divided into 3 tracks, depending on the subject matter:
LTCC track: H1, L1
Sensor networks track: H2, H3, H4, L2, L3, L4
Soft skills track: S1, S2, S3, S4
For detailed description go to the LTCC track and Sensor networks track subpage.
