Project Description
The aim of POLECER (Polar Electroceramics) is to identify key areas for development within polar electroceramics, coordinate R&D activities in the field, pursue efficient dissemination of their results to industrial users, support implementation of emerging technologies leading to new products, to bring Europe to the forefront of technological development and strengthen its competitiveness by means of innovative products and setting environmental standards. POLECER will organize and support co-operation between European regions including the former Eastern Europe and stimulate exchange of young scientists from different countries. POLECER will organise annual workshops to ensure information flow and dissemination of results and 5 focused workshops to create a common platform for scientists and industrial users to facilitate the co-operation and fast implementation of results. It will organize a database of expertise and a database of host institutions.
